We’re thrilled to bring you the latest issue of Funtime Comics Anthology #35, the longest-running comic anthology in New Zealand! Since 1991, Funtime Comics has been a hub for independent creators, and Issue #35 continues this proud tradition, showcasing a diverse array of comics from both New Zealand creators and abroad.

A Collective Effort–
This 80-page, full-colour, perfect-bound comic anthology is an eclectic mix of genres, from superhero parodies and sci-fi to environmental messages and works that defy categorisation. The collection brings together new, fresh voices and seasoned artists, weaving a rich tapestry of storytelling.

Tom Williamson’s Born Again – A wordless, visually compelling take on zombie Jesus.

Arthur Wheelan’s Graffiti Panda – A lighthearted, whimsical tale of a rebellious panda driven by a passion for 'street art', which the robotic authorities can only see as vandalism. Arthur works with traditional pencils, ink, and watercolours and has become a regular in Funtime Comics.
Jay Skelton –Funtime regular and creator of Dak Bird, presents a series of black and white hand drawn classic comic strips.

Melanie Davies’ Mudsoaked –UK artist Melanie graced our shores of Aoeteroa for a time. She presents her journal-style comic, with exquisite pen-and-ink illustrations.

Shaun Garea’s Legend of Gareus and The Pav – The regular antics of Shaun's alter-ego, Gareus. And an in-depth look into Ross Murray’s Rufus Marigold, the story of a socially anxious primate, with the Pav article.

Richard Clinghan’s Jenny and the Eddies – A concluding chapter with elves, monsters, and whispering creatures that bring to life an allegory about vaccines.

Jared Lane’s Witches Map – A self-referential mystery adventure inspired by Dylan Horrocks’ Hicksville.
Hamish Parkinson aka. Hungry Peach Boy–Sleeping Cat – A lil' one pager with, you'll never believe this, cats trying to sleep.
